Huntsville, TX, October 13, 2005 – the Texas Driver and Traffic Safety Association (TDTSEA) is proud to announce a strategic alliance with Driver Training Associates (DTA), a leader in the driver safety industry since 1977, to offer defensive driving online. As part of this alliance, TDTSEA members, affiliated school district personnel, students, parents, and local community members statewide can now fulfill their requirements for taking a TEA-regulated driver safety course in a 100% online environment through the TDTSEA website. This online course can be completed for the purposes of traffic ticket dismissal and obtaining an insurance discount, as well as to offset driving record violation points and the associated annual surcharges. The proceeds from this program will enable TDTSEA to further expand and support its services to all members across Texas, as well as help improve driver performance in the process.

The DTA Program for Driver Improvement is currently being used by public, private, and governmental agencies across the United States. DTA’s curriculum is nationally recognized as one of the few research proven effective programs in the driver and traffic safety industry in reducing the recurrence of traffic violations and crashes, a dual effectiveness that has rarely been achieved in the industry. Support TDTSEA and get started today!
